The Youth Ministry Office was opened in September 2007 and is located at Mount St. Joseph in Cork.
The Office will co-ordinate the development and the activities of
Presentation Volunteer Programme
Katherine graduated from Mary Immaculate College of Education, Limerick in 2002 with a BEd. Since then she worked as a classroom teacher in Scoil Iosaef Naofa, a boy’s primary school in Cobh. There she taught First, Second, Third and Fourth classes. In 2007 she completed a Masters in Education (University of Hull) with CLEO.
Katherine is a past pupil of Saint Catherine’s Primary school and Mount Mercy College; both Mercy schools located in Bishopstown, Cork.
Katherine was previously a member of the co-ordinating team of Edmund Rice Action Camps also trained as a Youth Leader with the Edmund Rice Action Camps in 1999 and and in April 2007 she travelled to New Zealand to attend a conference, "From Vision to Action" which dealt with the vocations situation in the developed world.
