Safeguarding Children

The Presentation Brothers apologise to any person who was abused while in their care. The Brothers are committed to implementing the appropriate national guidelines for dealing with complaints relating to child sexual abuse, and will respond to the best of their ability to any person who comes to them with a complaint. Accordingly the Brothers have appointed a Child Protection Coordinator in every unit of the Congregation to meet with people who have complaints to make:

Faoiseamh Helpline was founded by the Conference of Religious in Ireland (CORI) to provide a private and confidential listening service, and face to face counselling for adults (and their families) who were abused by religious or clergy when they were children. It is financed by Religious (including the Presentation Brothers) but it is an independent service. The identities of the people who call are not disclosed to the Brothers or to anyone.

The Helpline operates on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11am to 8pm and on Fridays from 11am to 4pm:
